Silas is fifteen. His friends told him not to come to camp. His mom found out what the week did while she was standing in a Costco checkout line.

Most Christian teenagers can tell you what they believe…
Very few can tell you why.
They inherited it. They’ve never had to defend it, so they’ve never found out whether it holds. Then they leave home, and someone asks a question they can’t answer, and the whole thing wobbles.
We built Worldview Academy for that moment, except we get there first. A week on a college campus. Twenty-five hours in a classroom with faculty who take their questions seriously. Small groups led by staff who sat in those same seats a few summers ago.
By Friday, the questions haven’t gone away. They’ve been answered, and the student knows the answer is his.

“Before going to Worldview, I had this question of just even the beginning of the existence of God. I’d grown up in a Christian house, but that was something that had just been lingering in my mind. And that question was answered for me at camp.”
— Mary, 16
“If you have a question at any time, you raise your hand and you ask it, and they answer it so graciously. They never make you feel like that was a really stupid question.”
— Kaitlyn, 18
“They don’t try to dumb it down, but they meet you where you’re at. You’re free to ask questions and free to challenge, which I love.”

I’ve watched a lot of students walk into camp on a Sunday. The ones I remember aren’t the confident ones. They’re the ones who sat in the back all week and then, on the last night, asked the question they’d been holding since they were twelve.
That question is why Worldview Academy exists. If you’ve ever helped a student get here, some version of that moment has your fingerprints on it.
In October we’ll ask you to help send a student whose family can’t afford next summer. For now, we just wanted you to meet Silas.
